We are trying to get the word out about this event, especially to foster families and group homes.
There's an event coming up in less than two weeks. I saw it on the KTLA news this morning with Michaela Pereira.
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).
Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th from 10 to 2, They are are giving away prom dresses to girls in foster homes and in residential care.
They are in their 6th year.
They can always use more volunteers.
It is open to all high school aged girls in dependency care in Los Angeles. You MUST RSVP for this event (just so we can have a better handle on the flow)
Call 323-526-6329 asap if you know a girl that should be at our event or if you would like more information.
Event is being held at the LA Convention Center. April 5 and 6 from 10-2, 2008.

For the past six years, CASA with the help of countless volunteers, helps to strengthen the self image of young ladies by giving them special princess powers for the day. Our young ladies are assigned a personal shopper dedicated to helping them find that perfect gown with fabulous matching accessories!
