Gustav Update

David Paulison from FEMA Administrator is on CNN talking about how the preparations for Gustav and how it compares to Katrina.

Michael Chertoff was on press to say that things are much better with preparations "evacutations of golf coast "going well".

Regardless of how bad Gustav is when it hits the mainlain it is going to cause devastation if it drops to 2 or 1.
The latest is that it is category 3, but will strengthen in the warm - 90 degree waters. Gulf loop currents. "High Octane fuel" for the hurricane. Winds are 150 mph. New Orleans is in the bullseye. Hundreds of miles wide.

Too many variables including a high pressure in the Ohio valley that could influence.
