GOING GREENE FREE FAMILY DAY

"Going Greene" Free Family Day at Museum Features Hands-On Arts & Crafts

Sunday, September 28, 1:00 - 4:00 pm
Pasadena Museum of History, 470 W. Walnut St., Pasadena

Join us for a free Family Day celebrating the Greene Brothers and the art of building things with wood:
• Special guest, Pasadena-based Side Street Projects, will host an open house on their traveling woodworking bus.
• Kids of all ages can enjoy a hands-on experience in a unique Arts and Crafts Workshop making wood-framed suncatchers inspired by the exquisite glass entry door of The Gamble House.
• Local author Kathleen Thorne-Thomsen will be on hand to sign her award-winning book Greene & Greene for Kids.
• Free admission to the Museum’s current exhibitions, Living Beautifully: Greene and Greene in Pasadena and The Art and Craft of Textile Design, 1860-1920.
